Never again will a single story be told as though it's the only one. -John Berger

  1. Hi Robert,

I'm very glad you're not either of those gentlemen. It sounds as if life has not always been good for you, and that this has left you with plenty of anger. I do hope that you haven't abandoned education of some sort, i.e. self-education, your own reading and following your own interests, because it teaches you how to argue, and gives you information with which to support your arguments. I think you are allowing your anger about how society has treated you to spill over into everything else, making others switch off. Which ensures that no one will listen to you, and your justifiable anger at injustice will never be truly heard. Rubbishing Aboriginal suffering won't help either.

But you'll probably delete this, because I'm educated and therefore not worth reading.

    Best wishes,

    Sue

  2. Sue? That's funny, I thought you were a bloke. Education doesn't give you talent. Or guts, which gives you freedom. I rate blogs by their courage: open-mindedness. Some blogpersons are narrow, demanding only praise, that's why they do it. The proper world is tough -for them. The proper world is battle.
I'm inclined to laugh, not be angry, I know some strange and funny people, I love them dearly. Sometimes I write about them.
I usually comment on one blog only, it's called Copperwitch. She's a huge woman, enormous heart. Tolerant, that's what I mean. A broad view, a Christian heart, more charitable than St Vinnies.

  3. I'm educated, yes indeed. I did it myself.

    Thanks for your kindliness.
